[gallery_desc]In 2015 I started visiting and photographing completely off-the-grid Mayan ruins throughout the Yucatan Peninsula, Chiapas and Campeche. These sites, some rarely visited since their discovery in the late 1800s, have a mysterious quality that mirrors their history.[/gallery_desc]
